Good Morning everyone. I am so sorry for
the long delay in updating, but life has been pretty hectic here in the past few weeks. We made the move with very little problems. Getting settled in and unpacking however is a work in progress as I have been very sick. I'm doing the best I can to keep Jessica's site upated and to get active in my groups again, but I have been hit with pneumonia again, and am off work at least another 7-10 days. I have no income coming in at this time so life has become quite hard once again. I have also been diagnosed with high blood pressure, my BP is 188/92 and higher at times, I am currently taking meds for that as well. I am also awaiting an Upper GI series to be scheduled as I have been vomiting blood and have been very sick to my stomach.
Our Angel has been tired and pale with unstable white counts, not sure what is going on with her little body again. Her hearing continues to decrease, I guess this is normal for a child who had such intense treatments of chemotherapy :( Jessica's right ear was the good ear, but with the hearing decreasing in that one, it is becoming as bad as the left ear. Jessica's appetite has become less than pleasing once again. This morning Jessica is running a fever of 102 and is pale and her eyes are extremely dark around them :( I wish it would all stop and just go away. The school decided to let Jessica graduate with her class on Friday the 13th, because she has worked so hard and come so far, they said she deserved to participate in the ceremony even if she does end up back in Kindergarten next year. Speaking of next year, there is still no idea where she will be placed yet, this is so frustrating. The school board even had the nerve to suggest that I place Jessica in a foster home in Montreal for the year. Of all the nerve :( There explanation/reasoning for that suggestion? To save them money. After I let them have it, I ran out into the hallway crying with such a broken heart :'( I couldn't believe that the school board even thought that was a good suggestion :( I took allot of pictures of graduation, and will post them as soon as I get them developed.
The other kids are doing well and are needless to say, looking forward to the end of another school year (June 23rd) My oldest child, Michael graduates from grade 6 this year, the ceremony is the 18th of June, I just can't believe he will be heading to grade 7 at the high school in the fall. Everyone seems to have adjusted to the move and the fact that they now have 2 homes, but I think Jessica is still having a bit of trouble understanding :( She still feels mommy and daddy should be together in the same house, sometimes I feel so bad and so guilty by her confusion and misunderstanding life.
